Launch of the .UZ domain zone root DNS server in Kazakhstan

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new root DNS server for the .UZ domain zone, located in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The server's operation is organized within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation between KazNIC, the .KZ/.ҚАЗ domain registry, and UZINFOCOM, the .UZ domain registry.

Server IP addresses:

• IPv4: 80.241.0.234
• IPv6: 2a01:7640:0:d::2

Hosting a DNS server in Kazakhstan ensures:

• increased speed and stability of access to .UZ domain resources for users in Kazakhstan and Central Asia;
• increased fault tolerance and security of the national domain zone infrastructure;
• development of regional cooperation in the internet and telecommunications sector.

The server has passed all necessary technical tests and has been approved by ICANN, the international organization that regulates domain name management.
